บทสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษเกี่ยวกับการปลูกผัก

ในบทสนทนานี้มีคำศัพท์เกี่ยวกับการเพาะปลูกอยู่หลายคน ลองอ่านและจดจำรูปประโยคกันดูนะ

Mother : Shall we have a vegetable garden this year?
แม่ : ปีนี้เราจะทำสวนผักกันไหม?

Noy : Yes, It’s fun to garden. I like to water vegetables.
หน่อย : ทำซีครับทำสวนสนุกดี ผมชอบรดนํ้าผัก

Father : Yes, it’s fun to garden, but it’s hard work too.
พ่อ : ใช่, การทำสวนสนุกดีดอก แต่มันก็เป็นงานหนักเหมือนกัน

Nid : Let’s grow corn like we did last year, father. I like corns.
How good an ear of corn tastes when it’s cooked and eaten soon after it’s picked!
นิด : ขอให้เราปลูกข้าวโพดเหมือนปีที่แล้วนะคะพ่อ นิดชอบข้าวโพด ฝักข้าวโพดเก็บใหม่ๆ เอามาทำอะไรๆ กินทันทีอร่อยเสียนี่กระไร

Noy : Let’s grow tomatoes too. I like them very much.
หน่อย : ขอให้เราปลูกมะเขือเทศด้วย ผมชอบมะเขือเทศมาก

Father : I’m afraid we couldn’t grow corn this year. Our mango trees are grown up, and we wouldn’t have enough room for growing corn.
พ่อ : พ่อกลัวว่าเราจะปลูกข้าวโพดไม่ได้ในปีนี้ ต้นมะม่วงของเราก็โตขึ้น และเราจะไม่มีที่พอปลูกข้าวโพด

Nid : But we have enough room under the trees, don’t we?
นิด : แต่เราก็มีที่พอที่ใต้ต้นไม้ไม่ใช่หรือคะ?

Mother : There would’t be enough sunshine for the corn, Nid.
แม่ : แต่ต้นข้าวโพดจะไม่ได้รับแสงแดดพอนะนิด

Nid : Shall we grow cabbage in our garden too?
นิด : เราจะปลูกกะหลํ่าปลีในสวนของเราบ้างได้ไหมคะ?

Mother : Yes, and what else?
แม่ : ได้, แล้วอะไรอีกล่ะ?

Farther : Onions would be nice too. They don’t need too much caring for.
พ่อ : ต้นหอมก็จะดีเหมือนกัน มันไม่จำเป็นต้องทะนุบำรุงมากนัก

Mother : Yes. And you have to take good care of tomatoes and cabbages.  Many kinds of insects like to eat them.
แม่ : ค่ะ, และเราต้องดูแลมะเขือเทศและกะหล่ำปลีอย่างดีมีแมลงหลายชนิดชอบกินมัน

Noy : I think Nid and I could take care of them.
หน่อย : ผมคิดว่านิดกับผมสามารถดูแลมันได้
